Health & AI Disclaimer

CoreSteps is a fitness tool, not medical advice. Always consult a qualified professional before starting a new training program.

Not Medical Advice

לא ייעוץ רפואי

CoreSteps is a general fitness and training tool. Nothing in the Service — including training plans, exercise instructions, coaching messages, weekly insights, chat replies, body metrics such as BMI or waist-to-hip ratio, daily calorie-needs estimates (basal metabolic rate and a recommended calorie target), and any content generated by AI — is medical, physiotherapy, psychological, or nutritional advice.

CoreSteps does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition, and it cannot assess your individual health status. The body metrics shown in the Service are broad general indicators, not clinical measurements, and should not be interpreted as an assessment of your health.

Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you have read or been shown in CoreSteps.

Consult a Professional

התייעצות עם איש מקצוע

Consult your doctor or another qualified healthcare professional before beginning this or any exercise program — particularly if you have a medical condition or injury, are pregnant, are recovering from surgery, take medication that affects exercise, or have been inactive for a long period.

If you have indicated a medical condition or injury in CoreSteps, please understand: CoreSteps is a fitness tool, not medical advice, and cannot account for your condition. Our plans are made more conservative when you report an injury or condition, but that adjustment is a general precaution, not medical clearance, and it is no substitute for advice from someone who can actually examine you.

Inherent Risk of Exercise & Assumption of Risk

סיכון מובנה בפעילות גופנית וקבלת הסיכון

Physical exercise carries inherent risks, including muscle strain, sprains, joint injury, falls, aggravation of an existing condition, and in rare cases serious injury or cardiac events. These risks exist regardless of how well a program is designed.

You are solely responsible for exercising within your own limits. Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, chest discomfort, or anything else that does not feel right — and seek medical attention. Do not attempt movements you are unsure how to perform safely. Ensure your training space is clear and your equipment is sound.

By using CoreSteps, you acknowledge these risks and confirm that you are participating voluntarily, at your own risk and of your own free will, and that CoreSteps is not liable for injury or loss arising from your physical activity, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Medical Emergencies

מקרי חירום רפואיים

CoreSteps is not an emergency service and cannot help you in a medical emergency.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency — including chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe injury, or thoughts of harming yourself — stop using the app and contact your local emergency services immediately (in Israel, dial 101 for Magen David Adom).

The AI coach cannot detect emergencies, cannot summon help, and must never be relied upon in an urgent situation.

AI-Generated Content

תוכן שנוצר על ידי בינה מלאכותית

CoreSteps uses artificial intelligence (AI) to generate coaching messages, weekly insights, personalized training plans, and chat replies. This content is produced automatically and is not written or reviewed by a human professional before being shown to you. Using any AI-powered feature constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of this.

Accuracy of AI Insights

דיוק התובנות של הבינה המלאכותית

AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or recommendations that aren't suited to your specific situation. This content should not be relied on as a substitute for personal judgment or professional advice, especially regarding pain, injury, or a medical condition.

AI-Suggested Exercise Substitutions

הצעות להחלפת תרגילים על ידי הבינה המלאכותית

When you report an injury, CoreSteps may propose replacing specific exercises in your plan with alternatives from our exercise library. These suggestions are never applied automatically — you must approve each one.

A suggested substitution is a general precaution based on the information you provided. It is not treatment, not rehabilitation guidance, and not a judgement about whether you should be training at all. It does not mean an exercise is safe for you, and it is not medical clearance to continue exercising with an injury.

If you are injured or in pain, the right next step is a qualified professional — not a substituted exercise.

AI-Proposed Actions in Chat

פעולות המוצעות על ידי הבינה המלאכותית בצ׳אט

Beyond the conversation itself, the AI coach may propose concrete actions in chat — such as logging a one-off workout, updating your saved preferences and questionnaire answers, or creating a temporary training plan for a limited period. Like suggested exercise substitutions, these actions are never carried out automatically — they are shown to you as a proposal, and only saved to your account once you explicitly confirm it.

Confirming such a proposal is not medical clearance and is not a determination that the action is safe or appropriate for you personally. The proposals are based on the information you provided and general training principles only, exactly like any other AI-generated content in the Service.
